We Built This Because We Were Sick of Setting Up Camp in the Dark.

 

SHACK started the way most good ideas do — out of frustration.

 

We'd done the long drives. The dusty tracks. The spots nobody else knows about. But every time we got there, the setup ritual ate the last hour of daylight. Poles. Pegs that went missing somewhere between here and the last campsite. By the time the tent was up, the fire was cold and the mood was flat.

 

There had to be a better way.

 

We looked at what existed. Traditional swags were heavy, slow to deploy, and hadn't changed in decades. So we started from scratch — applying inflatable structure technology to the classic Kiwi swag format. The result is the SHACK Inflatable Swag: a premium sleeping system that pitches in under a minute, packs down tight, and holds up in the conditions New Zealand actually throws at you.

We're not a global brand trying to retrofit a product to the Southern Hemisphere.
